My sister and I grew up with Precious Moments and Disney coloring books. Crayons, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolor, poster paints, markers, glitter pens-we experimented with all of them. 

I find it so fascinating that because of the digital age, we now have access to colors beyond those found in the largest Crayola box. It is now a cinch to play around with infinite shades of blues, browns, grays, and purples. Slightly moving the tint slider with your cursor to the left or right makes a whole world of difference. 

Color names are equally delightful. The rare ones, especially. To read names of colors is a different experience altogether, as you imagine with careful concentration what, for example, what turquoise looks like.
